1. In a written report, explain the following: How would you teach horses to move easily in the direction they do not like?. Tell me what would be easy and what would be more difficult in their training. I want you to think out situations and apply the above skills. Explain how and why a horse can learn “under saddle work” from the ground. Please explain in paragraph form the weak points (at least 5) you feel your horse has to overcome.
2. I would like you to follow the methods in this lesson and explain to me how your horse reacted. What did you have to focus on the most?
3. What was easiest and what was hardest for the horse to do? Start with leading your horse from his right side.
What was the outcome?
4. For bonus points, teach these methods to a friend using the friend’s horse. Help them to understand the goals, and explain the methods. Tell me about the exercise.
